Epic Robotz has been invited to attend the 2023 WESTEC Trade Show at the Long Beach Convention Center.  WESTEC is the leading California manufacturing trade show, providing solutions to manufacturing challenges for 58 years.  This trade show is an amazing experience for our team to talk to businesses from a variety of industries including aerospace, medical, industrial machinery, automotive, fabricated metal, and more.​

We are excited for our students to participate, but there is limited space.  Preference for this opportunity will be given to seniors and juniors but is open to the entire team.  You will need to register by October 24th and submit your interest and we will sent a selection notice by October 31st.

 

It is your responsibility to work with your teachers ahead of time to turn in assignments, arrange any tests or quizzes.   

 

Students will be grouped in teams of five, with one mentor or adult chaperone.

Student Requirements:

You must sign up by October 24, 2023

1.  Students sign up by October 24, 2023

2.  Students will need to do a mandatory training

3.  Students need to become an SME Member for free. Sme.org/join

4.  Download the SME+ app and create a student login.  Every student must be registered and have a unique email address that matches the email that they use in the SME Events+ app to play the student challenge game.

*** Before entering the event on November 9, 2023 ALL students and mentor need to be logged into the SME events+ app. We will have a tech team to assist if needed on site.
